The Oakland A’s are coming off a 6-0 win over the Angels yesterday. James Kaprielian went six shutout frames to earn his fifth win of the season. Sean Manaea is 6-6 with a 3.28 ERA and 115 strikeouts this season. Against the Mariners in his career, he is 7-5 with a 3.42 ERA. The Seattle Mariners are coming off a 6-3 loss to the Colorado Rockies. The Mariners will send Chris Flexen to the mound for today's start. He has posted a 9-3 start with a 3.35 ERA this season.

Sean Manaea has pitched well this season and Chris Flexen has been even better. Manaea has gone under in his last four road starts and has not allowed more than three runs in a start over the last couple of months. The Mariners come in with the worst offense in baseball. They have gone under in their last five home games against a lefty. Oakland has gone under in six of its last seven games against the AL West.
