This game basically comes down to Belichick versus Herbert. Bellicheck has always had a way to make a rookie quarterback wish he wasn't playing in the game. Hebert will see a lot of different looks from the Patriot's defense. Expect to see Gilmore lined up against Allen, taking away Herbert’s best offensive weapon. The Chargers are banged-up on the defensive side of the ball and that has led to an inability to stop the run. The Patriots have depth at running back that should allow them to keep fresh legs attacking that Chargers weakness. I am not impressed with newton under center but he has won some games with his legs and against this defense, he will have some opportunities in this game to make big plays running the ball. This is a must-win for New England to remain in the playoff hunt.
