NCAAF 10* Tailgate Party Special " GAME OF THE WEEK"
(NCAAF) Tennessee vs. South Carolina,
Point Spread: -3.50 | -111.00 Tennessee (Away)
Result: Win
Point Spread: -3.50 | -111.00 Tennessee (Away)
Result: Win
The Tennessee Volunteers did not start the season off well but finished on a high note winning their last six to finish the season with 8 wins overall. Jarrett Guarantano will likely get the start at quarterback as he has 32 career passing touchdowns. Tennessee also has one of the best offensive lines in the SEC this year and will use that to get Eric Gray going in the rushing attack. Gray averaged 5.3 yards per carry last season. The defense ranked 23rd last season and has many of the stars from the defense returning.
The South Carolina Gamecocks went the other way at the end of last season losing five of their last six games and finished with just four wins. Head coach Will Muschamp will need to turn things around if he hopes to keep his job. South Carolina will go with Collin Hill at quarterback over Ryan Hilinski and no matter who has the quarterback spot they will be doing it with a new offensive coordinator and limited practice. They also have to deal with an injury to runningback MarShawn Lloyd. Their defense eas decent but when you win only for games there is room for improvement.
The Volunteers are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 road games. The Volunteers are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 meetings in South Carolina. There will be some growing pains for South Carolina on the offensive side of the ball with a new offensive coordinator, quarterback, and limited practice time. The Volunteers have the physical defense and a physical offensive line and rushing attack. I look for Tennessee to grind the ball and wear down South Carolina and come away with a win and cover.
Play on Tennessee. This is a 10* GAME OF THE WEEEK!
