Point Spread: 6.00 | -110.00 Las Vegas (Home)
Result: Win
The New Orleans Saints are coming off an opening day win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 34-23. Quarterback Drew Brees threw for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win. The employed a two-headed rushing attack that didn't fare well with Latavius Murray rushing for 48 rushing yards and Alvin Kamara added 16 yards and a touchdown. Kamara also had 5 catches for 51 yards and a touchdown. Jared Cook led the receiving corps with 5 catches for 80 yards.
The Las Vegas Raiders are also coming off an opening day win over the Carolina Panthers 34-30. Quarterback Derek Carr threw for 239 yards and a touchdown. Josh Jacobs led the rushing attack with 93 yards and 3 touchdowns. Henry Ruggs III had three catches for 55 yards and Jacobs added 4 catches 46 yards.
New Orleans is 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games overall and 35-16 ATS in their last 51 road games. Las Vegas is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games as a home underdog. The road team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams. New Orleans did win their first game against Tampa but I was not that impresses. Oakland has a nice running game with Jacobs and the spread the ball around in the passing game. I like the Raiders to keep this one close as the open Vegas to the Raider Nation.
Play on Las Vegas.
