The St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs meet up for an important divisional four-game set this weekend. The Cubs took 2 of three from Pittsburgh but also dropped their last game of the series 6-2. The Cubs will look to put some distance between themselves and the Cards. They will look to get things started with Yu Darvish on the mound. Darvish was named NL Pitcher of the Month and has posted a 6-1 record this season with a 1.47 ERA and 52 Ks in 43.0 innings.

The Cardinals are 6-2 in their last eight road games versus a right-handed starter but are 4-11 in the last 15 versus a team with a winning record. The Cubs are 4-1 in their last five versus the National League Central and 8-3 in their last 11 games as a home favorite. Both pitchers have pitched well but Darvish has been almost unhittable. This could come down to a mistake by either pitcher and the Cubs have more pop in their lineup. Take the Cubs and Darvish in this one.
