The Oklahoma City Thunder battled back to force Game 7 and now are a win away from taking on the LA Lakers in the next round. They took Game 6, 104-100 behind Chris Pauls 28 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Danilo Gallinari had 25 points and Luguentz Dort chipped in 13 points.
The Houston Rockets let one get away in Game 6, a game in which they had led most of the way. James Harden was the Rocket's main offensive weapon with 32 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. Robert Covington had 18 points and Russell Westbrook added 17 points. Houston led 98-92 late in the fourth quarter, but the Thunder finished the quarter outscoring the Rockets 12-2 in the final 3:35.
The Thunder are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall against the Rockets. The Rockets did bring their best game with Gordon shooting poorly and Westbrook had seven really bad turnovers, one at the end of the game when they had a chance to tie or win. Even with Gordon and Westbrook not playing great they still had the ball with a chance to win. Gordon and Westbrook will play better and Houston will advance to take on the Lakers.
