The Chicago White Sox continued their winning ways last night but it wasn't easy as they gave up the tying run in the top of the ninth and won it in the bottom half of the inning on a walk-off home run by Grandal. That win was their tenth in eleven games and they have beaten the Royals in all four games this season. The Twins will turn to Brady Singer for today's start. l make his seventh start of the year, looking to avoid his third straight loss. He is 1-3 in six starts with a 5.16 ERA and has lost two in a row. The Royals have struggled all year finding a consistent offense. The one bright spot for the offense has been Jorge Soler who is hitting .245 with seven homers and 19 RBI’s this season. He is 3 for 10 against the White Sox this season.

The Sox will counter with a RED HOT Dylan Cease on the mound. He is 4-2 this season with a 3.13 ERA. He had won four in a row before suffering a 2-1 loss to the Chicago Cubs in his last outing. He allowed just two runs in six innings earlier this month against these same Royals. Yasmani Grandal, who hit last night's game-winning home run, has pounded the Royals pitching earlier this season going 5 for 13 with five RBI’s.

The White Sox offense is sixth in the league in scoring with over 5 runs a game while the Royals offense ranks 27th. Dylan Cease has allowed two or fewer runs in five straight starts. Chicago swept K.C. in the first series and outscored them by 13 runs. Last night was a close game but the White Sox were able to come away with the win. I look for an easier game in this one for the Sox.
