The Mavs found themselves down twenty-one points early, and without Kristaps Porsingas and Luka Doncic playing on aa bad ankle. They battled back behind Doncic with a huge triple-double with 43 points, 17 rebounds, and 13 assists. Trey Burke contributed 25 points and Tim Hardaway Jr. added 21 points. It came down to the final shot, with Doncic hitting a step-back three at the buzzer to get the win.

The Los Angeles Clippers let one slip away and now find themselves tied at two games apiece instead of holding a commanding 3-1 lead. Lou Williams had a huge night off the bench with 36 points as he shot 13 of 20. Kawhi Leonard contributed 32 points with nine rebounds and four assists. Paul George had another poor shooting night, hitting just three of fourteen shots for just nine points.

The Clippers let one slip away and now find themselves in a real fight to advance. Patrick Beverley is unlikely to play again for the Clippers and the Mavericks should have Porzingis back and Doncic will have had a whole day of rest for his ankle.
