The Memphis Grizzlies are set to take on the Portland Trail Blazers in an NBA playoff play in game. Memphis is coming off a 119-106 win over Milwaukee and Portland overcame Brooklyn 134-133 in their final seeding games Thursday.

Memphis made things difficult in themselves in the BUBBLE. They came in with a 3.5-game lead for the final playoff spot in the West but struggled in the bubble. They went just 2-6 in the bubble, and now need to beat Portland twice to advance. Ja Morant and Jonas Valanciunas each had triple-doubles to lead the Grizzlies. The offense is led by Ja Morant with 17.8 points plus 7.3 assists a game. Dillon Brooks adds 16.2 points and Jonas Valanciunas chips in 14.9 points. As a team, Memphis puts up 112.6 points a game and on the defensive end, they are giving up 113.7 points.

Portland had a nice run in the bubble going 6-2 and they moved up to the eighth spot in the West. They were almost eliminated in their last game as Brooklyn missed a last-second shot for the win. They now only have to win once against Memphis to move on. As a team, Portland puts up 115 points a game and on the defensive end, they are allowing 116.1 points a game. The offense is led by Damian Lillard with 30 points plus eight assists a game. CJ McCollum adds 22.2 points and Hassan Whiteside chips in 15.5 points and 13.5 rebounds.

Memphis did not play well in the bubble and the loss of Jaren Jackson Jr. will hurt them in this one. Portland had a nice run and Dame Lilliard has been on fire lighting things up on the offensive end. Portland has too much offensive firepower and will come away with a win and cover.

Play on Portland.
