Both teams have been involved in some high-scoring games of late, but I expect those trends to end this evening.
The Kings are off a 3-1 win at Edmonton, and they enter having won four of their last five.
Previous to that LA had seen the total go OVER in two straight, including a 6-5 loss in Calgary.
LA averages 3.32 GPG, while allowing 3.37.
The Canucks average just 3.41 GPG, while allowing 4.06. Defense and goaltending has been an issue for Vancouver here, but they catch a break today facing this less than elite LA offense.
The Canucks just broke a three-game slide with a 5-4 win over the Sabres, but all signs point to a much more defensive game here.
