I think this is a great spot for Calgary. The Flames are 5-4-1 overall, including 1-0 on the road.

They're coming off four straight home losses. All but one was a tight setback, including a 4-3 OT loss to New Jersey on Saturday.

The Islanders are 7-5, but they return home after a 3-0 loss at Detroit. With a game at the Rangers tomorrow night though, this one unquestionably sets up as a "look ahead" spot for the home side.

Clearly, the Flames don't have that luxury after four straight losses.

These team's offensive and defensive numbers are similar in the early going, but I think this one sets up well for Calgary.

Consider the FLAMES on Monday night.
