This is a 10* SOUTHWEST GOY on the Rockets.

I think the 0-1 Houston Rockets will, at the very least, keep this one close enough to earn the comfortable ATS cover.

The Grizzlies are filled with talent. They're still a young team. They held on for the 115-112 OT home win over the Knicks to open the season, but with a much more high-profile game at Dallas tomorrow night (followed by another high-profile game vs. the Nets at home two nights later), this sets up as a "look-ahead" spot. Memphis could rest starters down the stretch and in the second half as well.

Houston has now lost eight straight dating back to last year, but it's 5-3 ATS over that stretch. Kevin Porter Jr. looks like the real deal to me. I think Houston can surprise a lot of bettors early on.

I look for Houston to keep this one close throughout and I look for it to earn the comfortable ATS cover once it's all said and done.
