This is a 10* PACIFIC DIVISION TOTAL OF THE MONTH on the UNDER Canucks/Oilers.
The Canucks finished fifth in the Pacific, and just missed out in the playoffs. The Oilers finished second and they were swept in the Western Conference Finals.
Vancouver finished off last season by going 32-15-0 after hiring Bruce Boudreau. They got Jack Campbell in net this year and he was 31-9-6 with a 2.64 GAA for the Leafs.
The Oilers have a great offense with the likes of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, but the weakness was on the defensive end. They signed ex Canuck Thatcher Demko in net, and he finished 32-22-7 with 2.72 GAA.
I'm expecting a very tightly-checked, and ultimatley lower-scoring game here between these division rivals in their Opening Season contest.
