This is a 10* MW GOW on Fresno State.

I'm not calling for an outright upset, but I do think this game will "come down to the wire."

San Jose State is 4-1 and off a convincing 40-7 win over a potentially dangerous UNLV team last weekend. The Spartans have hit a soft part of their schedule with a game at New Mexico State next weekend.

Frenso State enters on the the other end of the spectrum at 1-4 and off a 40-20 loss at Boise State as a 10.5 point underdog.

Despite their recent run of success, I'll point out that San Jose State has still lost five of its last eight on the road.

Chevan Cordeiro has been decent for SJSU by throwing for 1,308 yards, six TD's and zero INT's. The Spartans have also been good defensively in allowing only 14 PPG.

Fresno state won't be rolling over here. Despite their struggles the Bulldogs have still won six of their last eight at home. Jake Haener has 854 passing yards, four TD's and an INT. So far Fresno State is allowing 29.2 PPG>

The Spartans though are just 2-6 their last eight on this field and only 1-3-1 ATS in the last five in this series overall.

I say that SJSU suffers enough of a mental letdown here to let the desperate home side comfortably sneak in through the back door with the large spread that it's been afforded this weekend.
