This is a 10* AL TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the OVER Mariners/Astros.

We know that these two teams can plate runs with the best of them in the league. We also know that they have great starting pitching and bullpens, and that a classic "duel" could break out at any time when they get together.

So is this O/U line just a bit TOO low?!

I say it is! This is a difficult spot for Logan Gilbert. He's been great this year, and sharp on the road, but the Mariners' bullpen will be a bit taxed here, despite taking care of the Jays in two games.

Justin Verlander is the man for the Astros. He has a sub 2.00 ERA and he's been particularly sharp at home. The extra time off between series could disrupt his chemistry though.

And there's no question that this Mariners line-up is seeing the ball really well right now, posting 14 runs in the two victories over the Jays.

I say this O/U line is just a bit too low, the play is the OVER.
