EARLY ATS BLOWOUT SPECIAL (WINNING BIG NFL!)
(NFL) Indianapolis vs. Jacksonville,
Point Spread: 4.00 | -110.00 Jacksonville (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* SPECIAL on the Jaguars.

I talked about liking Jacksonville on a couple of nationally syndicated shows this week, and I've now upgraded the Jaguars to an official "client" play.

I always find the first week or so difficult, and I don't normally flip flop on a team from one week to the next, but last week I did have a strong lean to the Colts in their 20-20 tie with the Texans. That was quite something.

So now Indianpolis is once again on the road. It's once again favored, and it's once again facing a division rival right out of the gate.

As we know, division rivalries are the most important, and they almost always mean more to the home side.

The AFC South is wide open. Houston and Indianpolis have the tie, but both Tennessee and Jacksonville lost.

I do indeed think the Jaguars here at home are the correct call in Week 2 though.

They got down early on the road last weekend, but they did close out strong as they made a game of it in the Nation's capital, eventually falling 28-22.

Carson Wentz had himself a day last weekend for Washington, but Matt Ryan looked like he lost a step for the Colts.

Trevor Lawrence was 24 of 42 for 275 yards and a touchdown for the Jags. I think he'll be better again here in Week 2. And then James Robinson carried 11 times for 66 yards with a scoring run and a touchdown reception for the Jaguars as well.

The bottom line here is after Week 1 I'm making some adjustments, and I believe these sides are evenly matched.

Because of that, I'm going to recommend grabbing the points with the JAGUARS.

Good luck, NP
