This is an 8* TOTAL on the OVER Mariners/Rangers.
Both games in this series have fallen UNDER the number, but we're expecting much more of a SLUG-FEST here on Sunday afternoon in the finale.
The Rangers though have now seen the total go UNDER the number in five straight, which is significant to note in this case, as Texas has seen the total go OVER the number in seven of its last ten after playing to five or more straight UNDERS in a row.
The Rangers go with Martin Perez (4-1, 1.42 ERA), who admittedly has been superb to this point. Regression though at some other point in the near future does seem imminent though.
George Kirby (1-1, 3.46) is a rookie right-hander that's done decently so far for the Mariners.
But I think each of these starters is getting a little TOO much respect from the bookmakers today.
This total is now just a bit too low, the play is the OVER.
