10* NL TOTAL OF WEEK - 23-15 MLB YTD!
(MLB) NY Mets vs. St. Louis,
Total: 7.00 | 105.00 Over
Result: Push
Total: 7.00 | 105.00 Over
Result: Push
This is a 10* NL TOTAL OF THE WEEK on the OVER Mets/Cardinals.
Totals in Major League Baseball are dropping. Starting pitching and strong bullpen play has been the early storyline.
This one has gotten just a bit too low though now in our opinion.
Two really good teams here in the early going. The Cardinals are 9-5 and lead the NL Central, while the Mets are 12-5 and lead the NL East.
Max Scherzer (3-0, 2.50 ERA) has 27 strikeouts and seven walks over 18 innings. He's had plenty of success against the Cards in the past as well.
Lights out numbers from Scherzer and a small amount of regression now seems imminent.
Miles Mikolas (1-0, 2.00) has 15 strikeouts and three walks over 13.1 innings this year. He's also enjoyed plenty of success in the past vs. his opponent tonight.
But just like his counterpart, I say these sparkling numbers are just not sustainable.
This O/U line is the shortest I've seen all season. And it's much too short. Look for this total to comfortably fly over this small number as the game comes down the stretch.
The play is the OVER.
Good luck, NP
