The Orioles have in fact seen the total go UNDER the number in ten straight. That includes in yestreday's 1-0 victory here. THis is the finale of a four-game series.

Oakland has seen the total go UNDER in four straight. The A's though have seen the total go OVER the number in eight of their last 11 in trying to revenge a shutout home loss against an opponent.

Clearly, these are two line-ups that are just starving for runs.

Tyler Well (0-1, 6.35 ERA) gets the nod for the Orioles and he'll throw opposite Paul Blackburns (1-0, 1.80.)

Blackburn has gotten out to the better start so far, but regression definitely appears to be in order.

Yes, these teams have struggled up to this point to put runs on the board, but we'll expect these lop-sided trends to start going the other way today.
