This is a 10* TOP TOTAL on the OVER Lightning/Bruins.
These two teams could very well see each other in the playoffs.
Tampa won't be lacking for motivation here as it tries to avoid a third-straight loss. I like betting on motivated teams when I'm playing OVERS. Most recently it was a 3-2 setback to Carolina.
The Bolts also play with revenge after a 5-2 defeat to the Bruins in January. Note though that the Lightning have seen the total go OVER the number in eight of their last 11 in trying to avenge a two goals or greater loss to an opponent.
Boston has won two straight, inluding a 3-2 OT victory at Montreal. The Bruins have a tough upcoming schedule, with the Islanders and Leafs coming to town next. I say they lay everything on the line here to try for a repeat result against the defending champs.
In this wide-open affair, look for this total to fly OVER the number sooner, rather than later.
