This is a 10* TOP PLAY on the BRAVES on the RUN LINE.
The Braves held on for an 8-7 win in Game 2 and I believe they have a shot at sweeping this series. The Dodgers are struggling with consistency on the mound and at the plate, while the Braves continue to do all of the little things correctly.
Momentum is a very real, tangible factor in the playoffs and there's no question that Atlanta comes into Game 3 with a lot of it.
Yes, the Dodgers are desperate. But, the Braves are just as hungry at this point, so this factor is a "non factor" in my opinion as well.
Julio Urias gave up one unearned run off one hit vs. the Padres in the last round for the Dodgers. He's 4-2 with a 4.14 ERA in the playoffs overall.
Kyle Wright has done well in his starters roll for the Braves in the playoffs, going 2-0 with a 0.95 ERA over his last three starts. Atlanta has the ability to pull Wright early and move to its deep bullpen.
The first two games have both been tight until the latter frames. Game 3 will follow suit as well. I'm going to lay the price and grab the extra 1.5 runs in my back pocket.
