This is an 8* SITUATIONAL BLOWOUT BEATDOWN on the Chicago Cubs.

The Cubs have lost two straight. They have a five game lead in the NL Centreal with seven games to go. With a three-game series at the White Sox to end the season, clearly Chicago will be all out to try and sweep this four-game series vs. the lowly Pirates, who have the worst record in the league and who have already been eliminated.

Jon Lester (2-2, 4.91 ERA) has thrown back-to-back strong starts and I think the veteran keeps the momentum rolling here vs. Pirates' rookie JT Brubaker (1-2, 4.79). He made one start vs. the Cubs earlier in the year and did decently, but now that the club has had a look at him, I expect him to preditably struggle here.

Finally note that the Cubs are 8-4 in their last 12 after back-to-back losses and playing a NL game on the road.

This price could easily be twice what it is in my opinion, which swings the value in favor of the hungry favorite.
