Point Spread: -6.00 | -110.00 Washington (Home)
Result: Loss
Indiana has been a train wreck, as one would expect as they dealt away their key veterans at the end of last season and in the offseason. There's no Domantas Sabonis or Malcolm Brogdon to help this group of young guys. Instead, it's Buddy Hield and T.J. McConnell, both 30, who are the grizzled veterans. Those guys have won pretty much nothing at this level so it's tough to get the young guys motivated. Indiana is a miserable 28th in the league in scoring defense as they allow 122 points per game and they are dead last in three-point field goal percentage defense as opponents drain 45.8% from beyond the arc. Washington comes in 3-1 and they have actually been good on the defensive end of the floor, ranking sixth in scoring defense by allowing 105.8 ppg. They've even won on nights when Bradley Beal has been off his game. Porzingis, Kyle Kuzma, Will Barton and Monte Morris help pick up the slack and deliver the win for the Wiz.
