Both teams have been high scoring in the first two rounds of the tournament as Duke has averaged 91 points while Arizona has averaged 90. I don't see that kind of track meet here. Maliq Brown, a defensive stopper who has been out since the Georgia Tech game of the ACC Tournament, could return here. The Blue Devils are stingy defensively, ranking fourth in defensive efficiency, first in effective field goal percentage defense (44.1%), fourth in field goal percentage defense (38.3%) and sixth in scoring defense (61.2 ppg) on the year. Duke doesn't run as they are just 270th in tempo with 65.8 possessions per game. Arizona isn't a great perimeter shooting team and they'll be hard pressed to get good looks inside against Duke, who stands third in two-point defense (43.1%) on the year. That leads to a lot of empty possessions and keeps this game short of the mark.
