The Rangers have been struggling over the last six to eight weeks and things aren't looking any rosier right now. New York placed Igor Shesterkin on injured reserve earlier this week, taking their #1 goaltender out of the mix. The Rangers are 2-8-0 in their last 10 games and had dropped four straight entering this one. Boston has been better since firing Jim Montgomery and bringing in Joe Sacco as the head coach and they are in the thick of a crowded Atlantic Division race. The Bruins should take advantage of a reeling Rangers squad to deliver a home victory here.
