San Jose State will miss Nash but they have capable secondary options to look to in the passing game. The availability of Lockhart and company along with having Eget under center should be a boon for the Spartans as South Florida has allowed an average of 278.7 yards per game through the air this season and 22 scores. San Jose State has to avoid the turnover issue that has plagued them this season as they have committed 28 turnovers this season. Fortunately, they have generated 28 takeaways on the defensive side of the ball. South Florida has some good pieces offensively but I admittedly would like their chances more had Brown been healthy and playing. Look for Eget to attack the Bulls’ secondary and give the Spartans the win here.
