Northern Illinois has been stingy defensively all season long and still have that upset win over Notre Dame to lean on. They should keep Fresno State in check, especially with Mikey Keene in the transfer portal. That makes things tougher for the Bulldogs, who have tried to get by on the strength of their defense. They have question marks at all the skill position spots on offense and seeing that the Huskies handcuffed a Notre Dame team that just beat Indiana in the opening round of the CFP, they should shut down the Bulldogs. The Northern Illinois offense is no great shakes but they should get enough offense to pull out a win.
