Washington led the league in terms of pace last season, averaging 102.7 possessions a game. That was the good news. The bad news is that Washington was dead last in the league in scoring defense by giving up 123 points a night while ranking 29th in field goal percentage defense (49.6%) n the year. That's not what you want when you're facing the defending champion Celtics, who just torched the Knicks for 29 threes to tie a league record and 132 points in their season opener. They should light up Washington's defense and the Wizards do enough to push this game past the number.
