Minnesota Timberwolves -110
(NBA) Timberwolves (MIN) vs. Lakers (LAL),
Money Line: -110.00 Timberwolves (MIN) (Away)
Result: Loss
It’s going to be interesting for the Timberwolves as they adjust to seeing Randle and DiVincenzo in the mix while playing without Towns. Minnesota should have better spacing this season as running with Towns and Gobert on the floor at the same time sort of bogged things down for them on the offensive end of the floor. DiVincenzo will bolster the perimeter game for the Timberwolves as he splashed 283 triples last season while shooting 40.1% from beyond the arc on the year. On the flip side, the Lakers core is still the same as it was a season ago, which means another year of wear and tear on Davis (31) and James (39) at this point. The supporting cast didn’t improve much for Los Angeles and with Minnesota improving their perimeter shooting with DiVincenzo, Randle and Ingles, give them the upper hand in this contest.
