A couple years ago, you'd see Walker Buehler listed as the pitcher for the Dodgers and think they had the edge. Instead, he was awful this season, going 1-6 with a 5.38 ERA and a 1.553 WHIP while giving up 16 homers over 75.1 innings in 16 starts this season. While he was effective in his last outing, which came against the Padres September 26, he still only went five innings, allowing one run on five hits with one walk and one strikeout, while not factoring in the decision. A near two-week layoff for a guy that already wasn't sharp isn't going to help. Michael King was brilliant for the Padres in the wild card round, blanking the Braves over seven innings and striking out 12 to help San Diego advance. The Dodgers have a great lineup but King has fared well against them in his career. Give the edge to the Friars at home in a critical Game 3.
