Washington Huskies -13.5 (-110)
(NCAAF) Stanford vs. Washington,
Point Spread: -13.50 | -110.00 Washington (Home)
Result: Win
Stanford has had two weeks to prepare for this game but that's about as good of news as you'll get for the Cardinal. They were sliced up by USC in their previous game that wasn't as close as the 41-28 final score may have indicated. Washington has been explosive in Kaleb DeBoer's first season as head coach of the program. The Huskies sliced up Michigan State in a battle of Power Five programs last week as Michael Penix Jr. threw for 399 yards in the contest. Washington is second in the nation in passing yards per game as they average 395 yards per game through the air. Meanwhile, Stanford is a dismal 123rd in pass defense by surrendering 341 yards per contest and one of their games was against Colgate. Stanford has turned the ball over nine times in their first two games and giving short fields to Washington is a sure fire way to get obliterated. As it is, Washington is the far better team and, playing at home, they win this one convincingly as Penix Jr. has another big game.
