The Sun Devils are a very good team, but the loss of leading receiver Jordan Tyson (75 receptions for 1,101 yards and 10 TDs) will be detrimental to their offense. The sophomore WR had 58 more receptions than Sparky's second-most productive wide receiver and 40 more than do-it-all RB Cam Skattebo. Tyson was also critical to moving the chains, as he was the only receiving option to have at least ten targets on third down.
On the other side of the ball, ISU boasts a Havoc Allowed rate in the top 25 with a top-35 rank in Rush and Pass EPA. QB Rocco Becht (3,020 passing yards and a 20:8 TD:INT ratio) has two 1,000-yard receivers, Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel, and will be reliable against an ASU defense that has one of the worst pass rush units in FBS and has struggled with tackling.
Sun Devils first-year starting QB Sam Leavitt has been good, as he has been able to lean on Skattebo. That said, Tyson's absence leaves him with few reliable pass-catching options and puts extra pressure on Skattebo to produce. The Cyclones' defense has fared well against outside zone concepts, which the Sun Devils run often, as well.
In short, I don't trust Arizona State's offense enough against a well-coached and more seasoned Cyclones squad. I'll take Iowa State to cover!
