NFL - Commanders @ Buccaneers
(NFL) Commanders (WAS) vs. Buccaneers (TB),
Point Spread: 3.00 | -115.00 Commanders (WAS) (Away)
Result: Win
Point Spread: 3.00 | -115.00 Commanders (WAS) (Away)
Result: Win
I’m on the Commanders +3 on the road vs The Buccaneers for these reasons:
- Jaden Daniels has been phenomenal this season and get to play a bottom tier pass defense that hasn’t improved in that category near the end of the season. The dual threat ability of Daniels is what is going to further cause havoc for this Buccs team, having to chase Daniels round the field as well as having to keep pace with the speedy receivers they have. Buccs are also terrible against TEs so look for Zach Ertz to let loose as well.
- Washington already beat Tampa in Week 1. Evans and Godwin played bad, and the Commanders acquired Marshon Lattimore 5 weeks ago. That will only make things harder for the Buccs in this game, and I see the Buccs having to switch up the game style and rely more on Bucky Irving to generate good field position.
- I’m not going to bet on Todd Bowles who was struggling in an inferior division, while the Commanders and Dan Quinn were thriving in one of the toughest divisions in football. It’s a nice weather game, with two rushing QBs, and plenty of big play opportunities. It’s going to be high scoring, and I know Daniels is too young to be in this spot as a 3pt underdog on the road in his first playoff game, but he’s going to shock the world even by coming close to a win.
Official Play: Commanders +3
Side Bet: Chase McLaughlin over 7.5 Kicking Points
Hail Mary: Zach Ertz Anytime TD
